HCHR_Appreciating the actions of NGOs in the international field, Kazem Gharibabadi, the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the HCHR, noted in the "Specialized and Interactive Session with NGOs with Consultative Status in the Human Rights Council": “NGOs have an important role in supporting and promoting human rights domestically and internationally.”
Pointing out that the human rights project is a political project and the claimants of human rights has not left dignity and honor for human rights, especially in the case of the Zionist regime's crimes against the oppressed people of Gaza, Gharibabadi clarified: “key planning and close communication with non-governmental organizations, capacity building and empowerment, as well as activating the capacities of non-governmental organizations, is an essential component in the programs of the High Council for Human Rights”.
For this reason, he asked the NGOs to identify the most important human rights challenges and processes that violate people's rights in their specialized fields and reflect them to the HCHR so that they can be resolved with the help and interaction with the executive bodies.
