  • Gharibabadi: The confession of the former commander of the terrorist organization Centcom to the assassination of Martyr Soleimani is another clear evidence of the terrorist nature of the U.S. regime

The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights of the I.R. of Iran strongly condemned the brazen confession of the former commander of the American Centcom terrorist organization to the assassination of Martyr Soleimani and said: “Terrorist Mackenzie's words made the evil and criminal face of the U.S. regime and its officials more visible to the public opinion of the world”.

Referring to the direct confession of General Mackenzie, the commander of the American CENTCOM terrorist organization, to the assassination of the martyred General Qassem Soleimani in his memoirs, a part of which was published in the Atlantic magazine, Kazem Gharibabadi, the Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated: “The criminal Trump and some other U.S. officials have previously admitted to the assassination of the martyr General Soleimani and his companions, but Mackenzie's brazen admission of this crime shows the evil and ugly face of the U.S. and the countries complicit in this assassination to public and international opinion, more than before”.

Gharibabadi pointed out that Trump, the then President of the United States, Pompeo, the former Secretary of State of the United States, and McKenzie, the former commander of the CENTCOM terrorist organization, are the three main defendants in the case being heard in Iran's courts, adding that the trial of these criminals should begin as soon as possible.

It should be mentioned that in a part of his memoirs called "Melting Point", which will be published soon, Mackenzie also dealt with the criminal operation of assassinating General Martyr Soleimani. He admitted in this book: “As the leader of the U.S. Central Command, I was directly responsible for the attack in which General Qassem Soleimani was assassinated”.
