Head of Judiciary: Slips in the Judicial System must be corrected swiftly

  • Head of Judiciary: Slips in the Judicial System must be corrected swiftly

For the first time in the last 4 decades, the swearing-in ceremony of notaries public was held with the presence of the Head of the Judiciary.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mohseni Ejei, while appreciating the managers of the State Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties for their dedication to the cause of transformation, stated: The National Deeds and Real Estate Registration Organization has been on the path of transformation in recent years, and during the management of Mr. Babaei, this organization has also faced a significant leap in its transformation path in relevant areas of work.

During the more than three years that I have been responsible for the responsibility of the head of the Judiciary, I have attended special meetings of the Registration Organization several times on various occasions; one reason for this is that I consider the aforementioned organization to be a pioneer and vanguard organization on the path of transformation and excellence, and I feel that the managers and staff of this organization are truly field and popular managers.

Addressing the participants in the swearing-in ceremony of notaries, the Chief Justice said: "You, who are honored today as notaries and assistant notaries, are devoting all your efforts to carrying out people's registration matters quickly, accurately, cheaply, and fairly, and all your efforts should be focused on gaining the satisfaction and trust of the people as much as possible."

Mohseni Ejei continued by referring to the serious and heavy duties and responsibilities of all officials towards the Islamic system and the people, and stated: “I consider you, notaries and assistant notaries, and you, the custodians of registration matters, to be among my colleagues, and I say to you that today our duty towards the Islamic system and towards the people is very heavy; if we fail in carrying out our responsibilities and duties, we have both betrayed the oath we have mentioned and caused people to distrust and be pessimistic. Our failure and negligence in performing our duties causes people to be pessimistic about the efficiency of the Islamic system, and this is the greatest loss; today we are the agents of the Islamic system; people rightly expect us to be extremely careful and quick in carrying out their affairs; today our task is very heavy and there is no room for any failure or negligence in serving the people.

The head of the judiciary said: "The devils and ill-wishers have been trying their best to create a distance between the people and the system's agents and to make people skeptical of the system; therefore, our duty today is very heavy and we must be very careful not to make any slip-ups; if an agent slipped before the revolution, there would be some consequences; but now the consequences of slip-ups by agents and officials are much greater; because people expect more from the agents of the Islamic system.

The head of the judiciary said: "We must know that the trust of the people and their satisfaction are our greatest asset in governance; we cannot solve many of the existing problems without the help of the people; if the people become distrustful and dissatisfied, how can we count on their help?! All of us, the system's agents in various institutions, must protect our collective and our colleagues, and if a slip-up occurs on the part of our colleague, we must quickly seek to correct and compensate; We must take measures and precautions to prevent slippages in our systems; we must not allow people to become distrustful and dissatisfied due to slippages and shortcomings of officials.
