- Masks
Iran had to import masks in order to meet people’s need, therefore, millions of masks were purchased from England and some other countries. However, they were seized at the airport due to the US sanctions. Thus, the campaign on producing masks started and now everyone can provide face masks easily.
- Corona test kits
A contract was signed with a Korean company in order to import kits to Iran. The Sudi TV channel Iran International claimed a huge corruption in the import process and that was an excuse for the US to resort to and impose sanctions on the mentioned contract. Iran managed to produce local kits and now is also producing rapid test kits.
- Ventilators
Ventilators were sanctioned as well. The painful aspect of the story was Trump’s claims on lack of medical equipment in Iran. Iran did not waste time and started producing ventilators not only to meet domestic needs but also to export abroad.
- Vaccines
Irrespective of what was going on beyond borders, Iranian scientists made great endeavors and now the Iranian Coronavirus vaccine is under clinical examination. Iran also took necessary measures so as to purchase vaccines but the US made problems in this regard again. Nonetheless, Iran’s Central Bank announced the agreement with a foreign bank on the facilitation of money transfer in this respect.
