Judiciary Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei condemned the terrorist bombing at a Shia mosque in Kunduz, Afghanistan, calling for punishment of culprits.
Speaking in the meeting of High Council of the Judiciary, Ejei called on authorities of Afghanistan to immediately identify and punish those involved in the deadly bombing on Friday.
He expressed condolences on martyrdom of Shia worshipers and sympathy towards those injured and the families of victims.
The Judiciary Chief expressed hope that Afghan people wouldn’t let their country be a hotbed of terrorists and Takfiri groups and those who commit such vicious crimes.
The United States wants to take revenge on Afghan people through its agents like the ISIS after its humiliating failure in Afghanistan, Ejei noted.
He called on international community and human rights claimants to proportionately deal with perpetrators of terrorist crimes.
An ISIS suicide bomber attacked a Shia mosque in Kunduz, Afghanistan, on Friday and killed over 100 people and injured at least 200.
