Referring to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, which is happening due to the relentless attacks of the occupied Jerusalem regime, Aliabadi stated in the meeting of the Permanent Committee of the International Organization for Migration that these brutal attacks will lead to a new displacement crisis.
He pointed to the duty of the International Organization for Migration to deal with migration situations in the world, and said, "The members of the organization cannot remain indifferent to this crisis and simply watch the formation of a new crisis of displacement and migration."
He pointed out that it is necessary for this organization to take a strong and decisive position regarding any action that leads to the forced displacement of the population.
"On this basis, the representative of our country calls for the international community to seriously reflect on the cancellation of the membership of the Zionist regime in the International Organization for Migration," Aliabadi further said.
"Following our country's proposal, the representatives of the Zionist regime, America, France, Germany and Spain in a coordinated action supported the crimes of that regime and provided an opportunity for our country's representation to explain other aspects of the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime while rejecting their baseless claims," he added.
The Standing Committee of the International Organization for Migration is one of the most important annual meetings of this organization, which is held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva with the presence of ambassadors and representatives of the organization's members.
