By admitting the involvement of the former American officials in the assassination of Martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the US administration continues to evade its responsibility to answer and bring the criminals to justice and shamefully puts itself in the position of the claimant, Kanaani said on Saturday.
The US' annual reports on terrorism, which consider non-aligned countries as threats, lack international credibility and do not change the facts related to the real efforts to seriously fight terrorism, he added.
The US cannot question the legitimate actions of the resistance movement in the region to confront the internationally recognized occupation with false labels of terrorism by distorting the facts and creating false narratives, he stated.
It is clear that the US administration is the main culprit in forming, training, equipping, and guiding ISIS terrorists, and has recently been the main accomplice in the crime against humanity and the genocide of the Palestinians by supporting the state terrorism of the Israeli regime, Kanaani said.
Referring to the US role in assassinating Martyr Soleimani and supporting Mojahedin-e Khalgh Organization (MKO), he said that Iran condemns US' support for terrorism and will continue its efforts to reveal the US administration's obvious hypocrisy regarding terrorism.
