In his meeting with Christo Polendakov, the ambassador of Bulgaria to Iran on Tuesday, Mohammad Javad Larijani called Islamic Republic of Iran as the leading state to fight terrorism including ISIS “which has been supported by the west” and called for Sofia-Tehran’s cooperation in fighting terrorism.
Criticizing the current policies of the EU and their support for known terrorists including MKO, Larijani noted the similarities between this cult and ISIS; i.e. killing thousands of innocent civilians.
“Iran strongly denounces this policy, which is also a violation of UN resolutions, against humanitarian norms and a real threat to international peace and stability; the fight against terrorism should be done without any compromise as we have no good terrorist.”
The ambassador of Bulgaria in his turn called for boosting cooperation of the two countries in the judiciary and human rights issues; lauding Islamic republic’s vote for his country’s membership in UNSC.
