Qasemi made the remarks in reaction to Pompeo's allegations on Iran's missile tests.
"Unfortunately, despite the fact that Pompeo has assumed office for a while, he has not yet reviewed Islamic Republic of Iran's stances," he said.
"Iran's positions regarding missile policies are crystal clear and it has been announced on several occasions that the policies are domestic and quite relevant to Iran," he said.
Iran will never hear from anybody about its missile policies, Qasemi said, noting, "We will act on the basis of our defense interests and the issue of missile is a totally defensive not aggressive."
"We are obliged to equip ourselves with whatever needed for defense in a volatile region," he said.
The US wants to influence other countries, especially the European states, but they will surely fail, as the European states are aware of Islamic Republic's policies and will not be affected by Pompeo's Iranophobic policies, Qasemi said.
