The statement reads as follows:
“The humiliating and violent behavior against Ms. Hashemi is an explicit act of arbitrary detention, torture and obvious violation of freedom of expression.
Having a long history of crimes against humanity as well as the massacre of thousands of innocent people especially children, the US government is not unlikely to violate the international human rights standards.
We urge that the European countries, who claim to be human rights advocates, particularly the UN, the Human Rights Council and the High Commissioner to immediately condemn this inhumane measure and make serious efforts to have Marzieh Hashemi released.
Undoubtedly, the US government is solely responsible for all these unlawful and anti-human rights acts.”
