Regarding the human rights disputes with western countries, Ali Bagheri said that our religious lifestyle does not accept to be dominated by the western approach towards human beings and this type of autonomous look towards life stands against western countries’ interests.
For instance, the Saudi regime does not follow the western human rights, but they act as their political ally in the region and that is why the issue of human rights in Saudi Arabia is not important to the western countries but this is exactly the opposite with respect to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bagheri said.
“The assassination of General Soleimani is an international crime under international law and this issue has been approved by all international bodies and the UN Special Rapporteur. Both Iran and Iraq have jurisdiction to follow up this case judicially and Iran’s judiciary has taken necessary measures to commence the prosecution in this regard”.
The deal between the UAE and the Zionist regime is not new and had already existed and such deals do not make the Zionist regime a legitimate entity but it revealed the real face of Emirati rulers although they had already made themselves known to the world by the atrocities they had committed in Yemen, Bagheir added.
The difference between the US and Iran’s approach towards the issue of human rights is that our policies are based on human rights but for the US and other western countries human rights are vehicles to move forward their policies and achieve their goals. Our human rights policies are the reason to back up the Palestinian nation since they have the right to defend their land and enjoy an independent country, the human rights chief said.
